Weight clips for attaching the casting weight to the leader or directly to the (main) line. The plug/insert provides just the right amount of resistance and pulls out of the clip as soon as the fish bites, allowing the line to run freely, often resulting in incredibly fast runs. If the casting weight gets snagged, it pulls out of the clip. The rig is attached to the included quick-change swivel. A very smooth system, one of our favorites!
